Run entirely by a team of passionate volunteers, including both undergraduate and postgraduate students, TEDxUQ is an annual independently organised TEDx event showcasing exceptional speakers from the UQ and wider Brisbane communities. Volunteering with TEDxUQ is a great opportunity to meet incredible people and contribute to a renowned event in the UQ community.
As a Core Crew, you’ll have the opportunity to dive deep into the TEDx experience with a long-term commitment and shape the event from start to finish.
Alternatively, if you prefer a shorter commitment, become an Event Day Volunteer and contribute your skills on the day of the event. Join us on this incredible journey to harness the power of ideas and create transformative experiences.
The TEDxUQ Core Crew consists of the following teams: Curation, Marketing & Communications, Operations, Partnerships & Finance, Graphic Design, Website Development, Production, as well as a Performance Curator, Secretary, an MC, and Volunteer Coordinators.
Applications close on Tuesday 31 October 2023 at 11:59pm.
Due to the high volume of applications received, we encourage applicants to provide thorough and carefully considered responses in your application.
After completing your application form, it will be reviewed by our team. Successful applicants will be invited to attend an interview in late November, after the exam period has finished.
